HIGHLY RELIABLE ENERGY SAVING MAC FOR WIRELESS BODY AREA NETWORKS

ABSTRACT
Wireless body sensor networks in healthcare system operate under incompatible conditions. All packet transmissions are served with their particular application dependent quality of service without endangering battery life time of body sensors. To fulfill the requirements, distributed queuing body area networks (DQBAN) protocol is introduced as an alternative enhancement to 802.15.4 MAC. It includes cross layer fuzzy rule scheduling algorithm and energy aware radio activation policies. The main idea is to amalgamate fuzzy logic system in each body sensors to deal with multiple cross layer input variables of dissimilar nature and independent manner. It guarantees low power consumption and suitable under coexisting scenarios. Simulation is carried out using NS2.  DQBAN MAC model has shown to achieve higher reliability than other possible MAC implementation.

Touch Screen based Robotic Realization Environments 2013

Synopsis:
In a tremendous technological world touch screen plays major role in day to day life. Most of the embedded systems in use these days have some kind of a GUI. The trend seems to be to emulate desktop GUI for the convenience of the user. Hence the touch screen is a necessary item today. We will talk about the 3-channel analog resistive touch screens and a touch screen controller implemented in a system in many types of applications. In this proposed system we implement the concept of touch screen based computer operating system, in this system the touch screen gets the data from the user and gives it to the embedded controller and the embedded controller transmits it by means of Radio frequency identification. In computer section, Radio frequency identification receiver collects the data from the receiver and gives it to the embedded controller and the cursor direction control can be performed. In this RF technology acts as the communication medium between the touch screen and the computer. In person section we have placed eye blink sensor for opening the particular document. When the person blinks the eye and embedded controller will detect the blinks and then transmits to the receiver side. In the receiver section it will receive and then open that particular document. Using this system easily access computer without involvement of mouse.
