USB PEN DRIVES & I POD’S DATE



6)1.Connect and enable a pen drive in a PC

 Aim:
To connect and enable a pen drive in a PC.
Procedure:
  First try connecting to the pc with the slot on the front side of the cabinet.
 If that does not work, try connecting at the backside of the cabinet. Most of the times, it does work.
 Once it says new hardware is detected, your pen drive is connected and you are ready to work.
Scan your pen drive for viruses before starting your work.
The same procedure is applicable for IPod too. If it does not connect, check whether the USB driver is working properly or not. If it is not working we need to re-install the USB driver.
  The USB driver can be downloaded from the internet free of cost.
  Right click on My computer -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> "Universal serial bus...."    -> right click on every line and enable.


Result:
Thus the pen drive was connected and enabled in a PC.
